Diamond Enhanced Reverse Circulation Drill Bits

Abrasion and wear resistance are critical considerations in the selection of diamond bits when undertaking down-hole drilling applications in harsh environments. In abrasive and deep-hole RC drilling applications, including grade control, the SCX diamond-enhanced RC bits offer a lower cost per meter and increased productivity.

RC Drill Rods

SCX offers an industry-leading range of RC drill rods in Metzke and Remet threads. Manufactured to the highest quality and built for performance, the range is complemented by a full selection of drill string components for RC drilling applications – replacement inner tubes, saver subs, dig-out subs, lifting plugs and blow-down/blow-up subs.

DDrill rods are commonly supplied in 3 m / 10 ft lengths, and 1.5
m / 5 ft lengths ranging in diameter from 89mm (3.5in) up to 114mm (4.5 in).

The drill rod is a significant investment in most drilling operations, selection and maintenance play a critical role in maximizing service life and return on investment. It is recommended, where possible, to select the RC rod that closely matches the hammer size.
